Carnelian was the single most-used stone for real Roman signet rings - worn not for decoration but as a personal seal, pressed into wax to mark a letter as someone's own. This oval cabochon carnelian sits in a plain textured bezel, in the true classic signet shape, and can be engraved with an initial of your choosing.
Of all the pieces in Archaeological Revival, this is the most historically accurate after the Aureus coin itself. Made to order in 9ct gold.
