Jewellery care guide
We want your beeswax heirloom pieces to last as long as possible, so this is a guide on how to take care of your jewellery to preserve their beauty
Solid Gold
All of our solid gold pieces are made from 9ct gold, this is the hardiest of all the golds which means they can be worn on a daily basis!
To preserve the beauty of your gold pieces, we recommend storing them in a cool, dry place - like a jewellery box when you're not wearing your piece.
We recommend taking care with harsh cleaning products or perfumes when wearing your solid gold pieces. you can shower and sleep in your solid gold pieces but to increase longevity we recommend removing.
Sterling Silver and Gold Plated
To keep your 22ct gold plated sterling silver, or sterling silver pieces in good nick, we advise avoiding contact with water, perfumes or lotions.
This means removing your jewellery when showering, washing hands when applying perfume and exercising. This will increase the longevity and avoid tarnishing over time.
Wipe your jewellery clean with a cloth when you take off for a rest, to ensure any oils are removed that could possibly tarnish your piece.
Freshwater pearls and Tourmalines
The Pearls I use in my work are fresh water pearls which are completely natural, meaning these can be fragile and scratch so please handle with care.
The same goes for the tourmalines I use, I love tourmalines and the variety of colours they come in so I use them heavily in my work, these are beautiful but not as hardy as diamonds, so please handle these pieces with care to avoid scratching
